Many times it happens that we forget our Gmail password. Although it can be recovered but many times people do not notice any of their old passwords, which makes it easy to recover passwords. Or a situation arises when the user is entering the correct password but is not able to login Gmail. This means the account is hacked. In both these cases you need to change your password. 1. For this, first you have to go to the login page of Google and click on Forgot Password.

2. After this, you will be asked for one of your passwords that you remember. If you do not remember, click on Try another way.

3. After this, Google will ask for permission to send the verification code from your Gmail to the link number. If you have that number available, then you make OK. After this, enter the code in Google's dialog box and create your new password.

4. If you do not have that number, then Google will send the verification code to the alternate email ID given by you. After this, enter the code in Google's dialog box and create a new password.

5. If you do not have an alternate email ID, click on Try another way. Google will ask for one of your mail IDs so that you can be contacted. As soon as you give the email ID, a verification code will be sent to that ID. Enter it in Google's dialog box and set a new password.

Note: Forgetting passwords is a common practice. In this case, either write down your passwords. Or save it in third party apps. Let us tell you that there are also some third party apps which are designed to save the user's password. Or when you login Gmail, you get a popup in the name of Save Password, then click on Save there.
